Jim Craig was a member of the 1980 Olympic Hockey team that accomplished one of the most memorable sports victories of all time - known as "The Miracle on Ice". One of the most lasting images of the American players celebrating after they defeated Finland to capture the Gold Medal was that of goalie Jim Craig draped in the Stars and Stripes searching the crowd for his father.
After the Olympics, Jim Craig played in the NHL for the Atlanta Flames, Minnesota North Stars, and Boston Bruins where an injury ended his professional hockey career.
Jim the persued a career in Sales and Marketing with the same work ethic and focus that he had with hockey. He signed on with Valassis Communications, where, over a 10 year period, he took a unit from $300,000 in annual sales to over $50 million in annual sales.
In 2005, he was signed on as president of HTG, a promotions and marketing firm based in the Boston area. In addition to his work with HTG, Jim travels the country speaking in front of corporate audiences and non-profit groups.
