The Route 4 Band not only plays the best in “Classic Country” and they play the best of classic rock, too!  Consisting of 4 talented musicians, the Route 4 Band plays Texas’ best Classic Country to good ole rock ‘n’ roll & polkas and all types of great music to make a wonderful party!

The band members consist of:

  • David Reynolds: Keyboards, Fiddle & vocals
  • Mark Pollard: Bass Guitar & vocals
  • Paul Murski: Drums & vocals
  • Robert Zientek: Lead Guitar & vocals

These musicians have a long list of impressive credentials.  David Reynolds, has opened for some of the greatest legends of country music including Johnny Paycheck, Dolly Parton, Moe Bandy and Mickey Gilley.  In addition to his strong skills on the keyboards and fiddle, David is a featured lead singer, known for his powerful voice. 

Mark Pollard has played bass with the likes of Johnny Bush, Doug Sahm, Rusty Weir, Wayne “The Train” Hancock, and Roy Head. He has been the opening act for artists including Ray Price, Ray Benson & Asleep At The Wheel, Kevin Fowler and Junior Brown and many other legends. 

Paul Murski has been playing in bands with his good friend and fellow band member, Mark Pollard, since 1979.  Paul, along with Mark on bass, provide the driving energy behind The Route 4 Band.

Guitarist Robert Zientek started his musical career at the age of 10 when he was playing the ukulele and drums. By age 12, he was playing guitar and bass and he had his first stage gig when he was only 13 years old. All of these varied influences can be heard as Robert plays guitar and sings lead on many of The Route 4 Band’s tunes.
