Quebe Sisters Band
Music: Authentic Western Swing, Vintage Country, Cowboy Songs, Texas Fiddling
The Quebe Sisters Band is one of the most exciting and refreshing new groups to come on the music scene in years. Playing a blend of Texas flavored western swing (Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys), lively cowboy tunes (Sons of the Pioneers), vintage country and swing classics (Ray Price, Benny Goodman), and traditional Texas fiddle favorites, The Quebe Sisters Band (pronounced Kway-bee) is a sure bet to please every audience and keep their toes tapping!
The group features the hot triple fiddles and 3-part harmony vocals of Grace, Sophia, & Hulda Quebe, along with the swinging rhythm guitar of Joey McKenzie and Bassist Mark Abbott.
Since their inception, The Quebe Sisters Band have performed for enthusiastic audiences across the country including appearances at The Grand Old Opry, Bass Performance Hall, Ernest Tubb's Midnite Jamboree (on Nashville's WSM radio), and the National Folk Festival, as well as concert performances with Ricky Skaggs, Asleep at the Wheel, Lee Ann Womack, Ray Price, Alison Krauss and Union Station, and Riders in the Sky.
Whether performing in a concert of background setting, The Quebe Sisters Band is sure to provide an exciting and memorable show for any event.
