Eleven21

Music: variety

Eleven21 is an eight-piece band, consisting of professional musicians who also work in the television, radio, and media content industries in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Members ‘moonlight’ as executives and talent from KTVT CBS 11, KTXA 21, Cumulus Radio and MGM. News anchor, writer and producer Tracy Kornet, from CBS 11 and TXA21 is the featured female lead vocalist; flanking her on stage are local saxophone legend Richard Frish and DFW guitar hero Tommy Hiett. Tracy shares vocal duties with newcomer Diane Chavez.

After years of honing her skills on the road, keyboardist True Tidwell adds her flamboyant playing style to Eleven21.

A tight rhythm section featuring Don Dobbs (guitar), David Chavez (bass and vocals), and Kevin Rothstein (drums and programming) complete this ensemble.

Expect to see diversity in the music these eight professionals choose to perform. Eleven21 moves through the decades with ease, impressing all with its ability to combine styles in a natural and effortless way. Much like one of the slogans of the TV stations, Eleven21 is “Good Music You Can Count On!”

Since each of these musicians also make a living in the entertainment industry; they know what it takes to “deliver the goods” to an audience. From Tracy and Diane’s passionate vocal performances and charismatic personalities, to Richard and Tommy’s searing soloing, these seasoned professionals make for an entertaining musical performance that will make you “Dance The Night Away!”.
