Dan Dunn has a background in painting, design and caricature spanning 30 years. He has won numerous national awards and been commissioned and drawn many famous people during that time. He has drawn caricatures for former President George H. W. Bush, Sting (Gordon Sumner), Jimmy Buffett, Joe Theisman, Fran Tarkenton, Ray Childress, Warren Moon, Houston Mayor Bob Lanier, to name a few. His painting commemorating the brave men and women of the Columbia shuttle mission hangs at NASA.

Dan studied painting at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. He specialized in oil painting and watercolor and also enjoyed sculpture and life drawing.

He started drawing caricatures at Six Flags, Astroworld in 1977 as a college student. He worked 9 seasons and became the artist trainer.

Dan has appeared on numerous local news shows worldwide and has appeared on The Ellen Show and The Carson Daly Show.

He has performed all over the world painting such dignitaries as:
